Why Graphic Posters?

At biblex.art, my goal is to give biblical stories the weight they deserve. In a world where we’ve become desensitized to their depth, I fear these stories are often dismissed as boring or irrelevant. But they’re anything but that. They are profound, life-giving, and show us how to live in a way that is full of meaning and purpose.

I often think of Audioslave’s Show Me How To Live. Whether the song is about Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein or someone questioning their existence, I see a powerful contrast between Victor Frankenstein and God. Unlike Frankenstein, who abandoned his creation, God didn’t leave us to figure things out on our own—He gave us guidance, rules, and ultimately, Jesus Christ. Jesus simplified it to two core principles: Love God and Love your neighbor.

These themes are reflected in verses like:

These verses are central to my creative process. Some designs come together quickly; others are more challenging. They vary in quality, but I’ve come to accept that the importance lies in the scripture itself, not in the perfection of the design. My work isn’t about me; it’s about pointing to something greater.

Whether you connect with these designs through their visual impact or the message behind them, I hope they encourage reflection and spark a deeper curiosity about these timeless truths.
